STRAIGHT FROM THE CORNISH SEA
The Cornish Seaweed Company sustainably hand harvests seaweed from the rugged coasts of Cornwall. Their aim is to make it a part of everyone’s diet and help make it recognised for the superfood it is, both environmentally and nutritionally.
As The Cornish Seaweed Company grew, they knew it was time for a brand and packaging refresh. The rebrand needed to reach a wider customer base, with packaging that mirrored the hand-foraged nature of the product and told their wonderful story, with sustainability at the forefront.
We wanted to celebrate the seaweed in all its glory and tell its story from sea to plate. We used a balance of hand painted watercolour elements and a clean, simple logo to represent the organic natural product and its simplicity. We included a diving character to represent Tim and Caroline who get into their diving equipment and scour the seas.
The Cornish Seaweed Company is now supplying Tesco and Waitrose and chefs such as Nathan Outlaw and Jamie Oliver. We’re continuing to develop their range as they grow.
