Maqui Porridge Oats | Made with Isla Natura Maqui Powder

Channel the Scandinavian art of Hygge with this nourishing breakfast bowl perfect for cold winter mornings. Using Isla Natura’s Maqui powder we’ve created this simple recipe for you to enjoy.  Maqui has huge health benefits as an antioxidant, it also boosts energy and supports the immune system – a colourful start to your day!


  • 50g porridge oats
  • 1 teaspoon Maqui powder
  • 350ml Milk or a mixture of milk and water

Suggested toppings:

  • Honey
  • Goji berries
  • Pumpkin seeds
  • Flaked almonds


If you have time allow your oats to soak for half an hour or longer in the milk, this will help make them softer and your porridge will be creamier. Heat the oats and milk over a medium heat, stirring frequently and allowing to simmer for 5-6 minutes.  Add more milk if required.

Serve the porridge oats and stir in the maqui powder. 

Add your desired toppings and enjoy!
